Oreos Unveils New “Dunkin’ Donuts Mocha” Flavor Because SYNERGY

The cookie kingpin combines a lot of words we like onto one package.

Dunkin' Donuts Mocha Oreo Cookies

What would it take to make America’s favorite cookie brand ALSO “run on Dunkin’?” Turns out, all it takes is a little artificial flavoring and some carefully-crafted boardroom-created brand synergy. And if you’ve ever dipped a half-crushed, stale Oreo cookie into some microwave-reheated Folgers, as the sun crept up slowly in the East to lend warmth and light to the horror of a new day, you already understand the potential of a coffee-flavored Oreo cookie.

The news hasn’t been confirmed by either Nabisco OR Dunkin’ Donuts (though we have reached out to both for an official comment), but Instagrammer @Junkbanter seems pretty sure:

This wouldn’t be the first time the two brands have collaborated; Dunkin’ Donuts released an Oreo-flavored hot chocolate this past Fall. Also, heaven knows this isn’t the first time Oreos has tinkered with their famous recipe, releasing all manner of limited-run flavors. We’ll just have to stay tuned for an official announcement.

This is a developing story. Check back dozens of times per day for updates, as they happen.
